In this 5-week course, learn to cultivate your writing voice with an emphasis on emotion, metaphor, poetics and humour. Grounded in non-fiction and life writing, you'll learn how to make your reactions to experiences the energy source for your writing, the way style communicates purpose, the way point of view can vitalise and transform subject matter. Through a combination of live writing exercises, critical reading, and observational practice, the course will help you develop the way that only you can write.
