In this online course gain a solid understanding of one and two point perspective, before exploring ways to bend, flatten and raise perspective in artwork. During this five session course on Zoom we will explore ways to describe three dimensional space through drawing. Setting off with a simple explanation of one and two point perspective, we'll be drawing the immediate architectural space around us before moving on to an analysis of cityscapes in photographs. We'll also look at ways to bend space, create intimate space and to flatten and raise perspective, bringing the distance up to the foreground. Throughout the course we will refer to relevant artists as sources of inspiration and information. By the end of these 5 sessions you will have the skills and understanding to draw three dimensional space in ways that you feel most akin to.
