Workshop
Join ceramic artist, Rhi Jarman, to create your own mushroom decorations using porcelain paper clay. In this workshop, you will hand build and decorate a hanging mushroom bell decoration and a mushroom ring dish/jewellery holder. Rhi will demonstrate a variety of techniques including pinching, hollowing, sculpting, and how to use porcelain paper clay to create fine natural textures. You will also have the opportunity to add colour using underglazes and oxides. Your final two pieces can be optionally glazed following the workshop, prior to stoneware firing. You may wish to bring your own sketch book and reference materials (though not essential).
