Hand-building age 11+ and Adults

Self led hand-building session using our step by step guides for Adults and 11+. Make yourself a planter, mug, butter dish or even a salt pig! Join us for a creative 2-hour pottery session where you will learn to handbuild your own pottery. Our lovely host will greet you and get you set up in our designated pottery room. Each participant will receive two balls of white stoneware clay and can choose up to 3 underglaze paints from our vast collection of colors. You will have access to a step-by-step guide with inspiring pot ideas to kickstart your creativity. You can create various forms such as a mug, plant pot, vase, jug, butter dish, oil burner, or even a salt pig. Our host will be available to assist with any questions, and we provide tools, stamps, and rollers for your use. After completing your masterpiece, you will fill out an information sheet to help us track your work. You can return in 6 weeks to collect your pots or arrange for them to be posted for a fee. Please allow 4 weeks from your first session before booking to glaze your piece.
