Introduction to Pottery

8-weeks What will I learn? You will learn about the whole pottery process, from clay to fired ceramic. You will work through a series of pottery projects, learning various hand-building techniques as well as throwing on the potter’s wheel, trimming and finishing. Add sculptural elements and learn about intricate surface decoration techniques to create your own unique pieces of pottery. What is included? All materials and equipment are included. Kiln firings are included and you will have a choice of a range of coloured glazes to finish your pieces. Your pieces will be fired in our electric kilns. Who is this course for? This course is for anyone and suitable for beginners. After your course, your pieces will be fired in our electric kilns. This process can take up to 6 weeks. You will be contacted via email when your pots are ready to collect. This course is for adults only.
