Glaze Making and Chemistry Workshop Saturday 17th and 24th October 2026 11.30 - 17.00

Glaze making is a fascinating process. A single glaze recipe can be adapted in many ways to give a multitude of different results. This is a one day workshop allowing students to learn the basics of glaze making and get familiar with the process of mixing a base glaze and creating a colour pallet. Making glazes can seem complicated and daunting. The ingredients can seem just like so many anonymous looking greyish and beige powders. But we would like to take some of the mystery away, without ruining the magic!
