Pottery Workshop Saturday 5th September 11.30 - 13.30

Come to Bristol Pottery Workshops for a one-off pottery workshop! Fun, hands-on pottery classes focused on throwing on the potters wheel. You will learn all of the basic steps of throwing - wedging, centring, pulling up walls and shaping the clay. Suitable for: All levels of ability. Perfect if you are new to pottery or to see if you want to get back into pottery again! What's Included: - Your own potters wheel - A wide selection of tools to use - Unlimited clay, only keep what you want, we recycle any items that you don't want to keep. - Lots of guidance for beginners or less if you want space for creative freedom. Sustainable Practice: At Bristol Pottery Workshops we prioritise sustainability! You can recycle clay an unlimited amount of times before it's fired, and so we charge for items separately to make sure that pots don't get left behind! Biscuit fired items are £7 each to cover materials, firing, and processing costs. If you want to apply the finishing touches to your creations we offer Glazing Workshops, and we make our own glazes too! Your masterpieces of choice will be ready to collect a few weeks after the workshop.
