Spike Island x Watershed: 2026 Film London Jarman Award

Discover the incredible diversity of UK artists' filmmaking. This presentation showcases the shortlist for this year's Film London Jarman Award, which features a £10,000 prize. This award recognises and supports artists working with moving image and celebrates the spirit of experimentation, imagination and innovation. The films shortlisted this year are: _Okay Keskidee! Let Me See Inside_ (2025), dir: Rhea Storr 20 mins; _The Dhaba - 1st Chapter: Mr Sharif and 2nd Chapter: Mr Bhari_ (2025), dir: Alia Syed 30 mins; _Moving Sound_ (2025), dir: Sadia Pineda Hameed 8 mins; _Other Actors_ (2025), dir: Ilona Sagar 60 mins. The winner of the Film London Jarman Award will be announced on Tue 24 Nov. The award is presented in partnership with the Whitechapel Gallery. The programme will feature a conversation between Sadia Pineda Hameed and curator of Spike Island, Clémentine Proby.
