Meet the Gods, their Human playthings and the Monsters, in an exciting new collaboration between composer Gwyneth Herbert and word conjurer Michael Loader. Myths are amongst the oldest stories known to humankind, told to help us understand our world. Come and be a part of bringing three myths to life through sound collages, words and melodies… A reimagining of an Ancient Greek myth about the shifting of seasons and a tale from Russia as old as a primordial forest, both with female characters at the helm; and the creation of an entirely new one - made in the moment - with the help of you the audience; plus songs and games in our pre-show Playshop. Expect eclectic musical sounds, vocal gymnastics and flugelhorn dynamics.
