In this Lunchtime Talk, Joss Affleck draws on their experiences of ADHD, neurodivergence and overstimulation to explore disability in the arts and the tension between creative curiosity and burnout. Through the School of Unlearning, they question what arts education teaches us about productivity, expertise, success and who gets to be an artist. What can clowning teach us about failure, and how can immersive storytelling bring people together in a world that won't stop making noise?
