Writing for the Stage

A two day writing for the stage workshop for budding playwrights and people who are interested in writing for live performance. Suitable for beginners and those with an existing script in progress. In this supportive and friendly workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore ideas for a play and write the first draft of a script. Learning about character, stage directions, genre, format, dialogue, semiotics on stage and dramaturgy. Participants will develop their ideas, hone their craft and support each other with dramaturgical feedback.
