Oil painting course for beginners and those with a little oil painting practice. During this course we will look at the basics of oil painting including tonal values, colour mixing, painting procedures and some technical elements such as when to use oil mediums and lots more besides. Students will be painting from photographs and subjects include still-life, landscape and portrait painting.
