As the Wheel of the year keeps turning, the next course of Ritual + Practice: Summer will accompany us from Litha across Lammas. How can carving out time each week support and sustain us as we step into this abundant cycle? A six week course guided by the themes of Summer, moving across Litha towards Lammas. We gather to honour and connect to the fullness & abundance of summer, and to sharpen our practice of being with what is present - both individually and collectively. Together we will explore formal & informal ritual & practices to stay connected to the energy of summer as it unfurls within and outside us, to keep listening in & slowing down, and to keep rooting the spiritual in the reality of this world. What is currently at its peak in your life, and how can you honour its fullness? What seeds are bearing fruit? How can you keep listening in as you expand outwards? What does abundance feel like in your body? How can carving out time each week support and sustain us as we step into this abundant cycle? What rituals or practices might naturally unfold within that space? A grounding rhythm of community & practice within the exuberance of summer. A time of personal and collective celebration as we draw this first year of ritual + practice to a close. Drop-in spaces will be available for this cycle from 18th May. We will be based in the Beehive Centre, with possible moments of being outside weather / group desire dependent. Each week we will come together to be with and witness the turning of the seasons within and outside. Drawing on rituals & practices from the traditions of yoga, this is an opportunity to connect to cyclical wisdom and spiral deeper into your yoga/spiritual practice. Over our time together, will come to know rituals & practices that are both formal and informal; those that have moved through lineages for centuries and those which we create in the moment; perhaps practices which are cognitively unknown, but yet deeply known in our bones. These sessions are open to all who read these words and feel a nudge of curiosity and desire. They are specifically designed with folks in mind who have some experience of yoga or another spiritual or meditative practice as an opportunity to dive deeper.
