Pottery Courses

Join pottery courses at Bristol Folk House. Our facilities include seven electric wheels and a kick wheel, two large kilns and test kiln, damp-store, moulds, decorative slips, underglazes, glazes and more. We use smooth white stoneware clay, Crank (Raku type clay) and Earthenware. If you are new to making pottery, this course will provide you with a well-rounded and comprehensive introduction to the craft of pottery. Through directed projects, you will learn the foundational skills necessary to create your own pottery pieces. For those with some experience, there are courses available to help you refine your skills and develop your own style.
