Pottery Courses

Join pottery courses at Bristol Folk House. Our facilities include seven electric wheels and a kick wheel, two large kilns and test kiln, damp-store, moulds, decorative slips, underglazes, glazes and more. We use smooth white stoneware clay, Crank (Raku type clay) and Earthenware. The courses cater to various skill levels, from complete beginners to those confident in their abilities looking to refine their style. Classes are available on Monday afternoons, Wednesday mornings, and Wednesday and Thursday evenings for beginners, with improver classes and open studios available for those with more experience.
