Launch & Roundtable: The Reality of Disability Hate Crime in Bristol 2026 Report

Launch of BDEF and SARI's Disability Hate Crime and Discrimination Report! This will be a space for participants in the report to see where their voice has gone, stakeholders and partners across the city to join together to look at the reality for Disabled people in Bristol. This report has been created out of a series of engagement sessions with Disabled people, with a particular focus on Racially Minoritised Disabled people, Disabled people with Learning Difficulties and LGBTQIA+ Disabled people as well as the wider Disabled people community. It looks at what is currently being experienced but also what are the community identified solutions that will improve this situation for Disabled people in Bristol. This report will inform the work that WECIL will be undertaking on Disability Hate Crime as part of the Bristol Hate Crime + Discrimination Service.
