Montreal songwriter Helena Deland brings her intimate, finely textured songwriting to Bristol Beacon with Eternity Shrugs, her third solo album. Exploring the desire to understand others and be understood in return, the record moves through the fleeting exchanges, private thoughts and small moments that shape our lives. Recorded in rural Quebec, Eternity Shrugs pairs Deland's close, unhurried vocals and guitar with delicate piano, warm bass, strings and woodwinds. Shifting between sparse arrangements and rich, cinematic passages, the album finds beauty in uncertainty, intimacy and the things we can't hold on to. Plus support TBA
