2026/27 Orchestral Season
19 unforgettable concerts from world-renowned orchestras, celebrated conductors and exceptional soloists. From Beethoven symphonies with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra to landmark recitals and visiting international ensembles, discover the power and joy of live music in Bristol's acclaimed concert hall. Since Bristol Beacon re-opened in 2023 following its extensive refurbishment, we have established a reputation as one of the finest concert halls in the country. Beacon Hall has world-class acoustics, the mighty Britton Organ and a varied and developing programme of concerts. Visiting conductors, soloists and orchestral musicians comment on the quality of the Hall and share how much they enjoy performing here. This season, our Orchestra in Residence, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, commence their complete cycle of the Beethoven Symphonies with Principal Conductor Mark Wigglesworth, to be continued into the 2027/28 season. We are thrilled that Víkingur Ólafsson returns in recital in September, and Olivier Latry (Organist of Notre-Dame de Paris) makes his debut in a recital in January. We welcome orchestras from France (Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg) and Germany (Düsseldorfer Symphoniker) and some of the finest ensembles from around the UK, including Scottish Ensemble, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Paraorchestra, Sinfonia of London, Manchester Collective, London Symphony Orchestra and a special Bach St Matthew Passion by Ex Cathedra Choir & Baroque Orchestra. We look forward to welcoming you to Bristol Beacon soon.
