Solidarity in a Time of Dislocation
A network meeting for a period of dislocation - treating solidarity as a collective practice, not just a professional one. The current climate is placing new demands on Black and Racially Minoritised communities and the organisations that work alongside them. This meeting is a space to think collectively about what solidarity requires in practice: for ourselves, our colleagues, and our communities, and to treat wellbeing as part of that work, not separate from it. We'll take stock of what the network has built so far and turn to what's needed next: practical approaches to solidarity in a time of crisis, and to the wellbeing that sustains it. Networking over light snacks and drinks, A grounding session naming the current context and what the network has achieved so far, Small-group discussion on solidarity in practice (in your organisation, your community, your everyday life), Reflection on what individuals and organisations need to feel and stay safe, emotionally and physically, An option to share contact details and stay involved in the conversation after the meeting.
