Social Housing Drop-In Session (Sea Mills)

Join BSWN, Housing Matters, and Bristol City Council for a series of drop-in sessions for Black and Minoritised council housing tenants! IMPORTANT: Information and advice about HomeChoice (housing options) are very much in demand and we can only provide a limited service at our drop-in sessions. Rising housing costs affect everyone -- but Black and Racially Minoritised communities are hit harder. Systemic barriers and limited access to information mean many people struggle to navigate the complex world of social housing. BSWN's research highlights challenges like the confusing council housing bidding process and lack of accessible guidance. That's why, in partnership with Bristol City Council and Housing Matters, we're running community workshops to make the system clearer and more approachable. These sessions create a space for honest questions, practical support, and building stronger links between the Council and the communities it serves.
