Pup Play by Dr. Pants
The Alma Tavern & Theatre · BS8
3 November 2026 – 5 November 2026
Comedy, Theatre
In this multi-award-winning comedy (of sorts), Professor Handler David has been invited by the Alma Theatre to give a lecture on the issues that matter: the kink of pup play (and how to turn your bitchboys into good boys). What begins as a traditional lecture quickly transcends definition through stand-up comedy, homonormative puppets, punk music, gay sex, and multimedia visuals to become an emotionally provocative and boldly introspective reflection on queer identity. "Filled with Puppy Power" (Watermark News), Pup Play "has a heart the size of Clifford the Big Red Dog." (Broadway World) Critically-acclaimed queer activist and artist Dr.Pants writes and stars. Pup Play has won six awards and a further four nominations. The show has raised over £1000+ (so far) for LGBTQ+ charities. The profits from these performances will be donated to an LGBTQ+ charity. **Suggested Age: 18+** **PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT PUP PLAY CONTAINS PROVOCATIVE, VIOLENT, AND SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT CONTENT THAT WILL DISTURB AND UPSET MOST VIEWERS. To ensure accessibility for all, a full list of the extensive content warnings and the full script are available upon request by direct messaging @pantsoffproductions. They will also be posted at the theatre and announced during the show. Audiences can leave at any time, however there is no re-admission or refunds.**
