Stop-Motion Animation Family Workshop

A fun and exciting summer holiday stop-motion animation workshop with Artist William Thompson inspired by Shaun The Sheep. This summer holiday, as part of Watershed's Cracking Films Gromit - 50 years of Aardman season, we're excited to invite young people aged 8-14 and their grown-ups to a stop-motion animation workshop with Artist William Thompson. This hands-on workshop will explore some of the basics of building your own stop-start animations using clay models and some simple phone technology. Throughout the summer, we celebrate 50 years of Bristol's global animation stars, Aardman, with a summer of their cracking films. You'll be able to enjoy everything from the early, award-winning Wallace & Gromit short films - including one featuring their dastardly arch-nemesis, Feathers McGraw - through to the duo's move into feature films.
