Halcyon (Headline Band) - the Bristol-based quintet Halcyon was formed in 2021 and quickly developed a unique sound in the landscape of the UK modern jazz scene. Mixing elements of avant-garde jazz, funk and experimental prog rock, the band flows between carefully crafted melodies and improvised sections in line with the jazz tradition. After party dance lead by Chiedza, (Headline DJ), hailing from South Africa and with Nepalese roots, DJ Chiedza's journey into the music world is a vibrant mix of cultural and historic influences.
