6 Week Skills based silversmithing for beginners and improvers - learn the craft in a warm, supportive environment with an experienced tutor. This course is perfect for learning how to turn your wax carved pieces into solid silver, gold or brass/bronze jewellery. Learn about the ancient process of lost wax carving and casting, different types of wax and how they work, plus the benefits of different types of casting. You also have the opportunity to work with a casting house either directly or through the studio. The course includes all waxes, blue and green for subtractive carving and red and pink for moulding and forming.
