Child Dedication & Thanksgiving Services

The arrival of a child is very special. Firstly, we would like to offer you our congratulations on this new addition to your family. We would love to help you celebrate the birth of your new child. We hold Dedication and Thanksgiving services. Dedication services focus on the parents, who together with the godparents make promises and ask for God's help in raising their child to know and love Jesus. This service is ideal for committed Christians. Due to the nature of the service both parents and godparents should be happy to publicly declare their personal faith in Jesus. Thanksgiving services are ideal for parents who wish to give thanks to God for their child but are not yet ready to make the specifically Christian promises and prayers of the Dedication service. Each service is unique with neither one being 'better' than the other. We are here to support you to find the service which best fits your beliefs. We hold these services on a Sunday as part of our morning service.
