Open Studio Friday

Our weekly offer to spend time with us in Pervasive Media Studio. Grab a hot desk. Enjoy a Lunchtime Talk. Get to know the space and the community better. Every Friday 10:00 - 17:00 we are excited to welcome anyone who is interested in arts, technology, and their relationship to society to join us in Pervasive Media Studio. Whether you're working on a creative technology project, or just curious about what happens here, you are invited to work from a hot desk and get to know our community. You do not need to know lots about creative technology or be working in a related field to join us in the Studio; if you're curious about these things, we're happy to welcome you. Our community includes all kinds of people - artists, facilitators, academics, producers, technologists and more. On Open Studio Fridays, you are welcome to: Hot desk - use a desk to work from that day (free wifi available), Grab hot drinks from our kitchenette whilst working here (donations welcome), Chat informally to the Studio team and residents working that day. At 13:00 we ask everyone who is in the Studio that day to join us in our Event Space for our free weekly Lunchtime Talk (approx 60 mins). Expect engaging speakers from both the Studio and our wider community covering a whole range of projects and subjects related to Creative Technology. Talks are informal enough that you can bring your lunch.
