Knitting Workshops with Jacki

Our expert knitting tutor Jacki (aka The Woolly Badger) hosts regular knitting workshops and beginner knitting classes in Bristol from our lovely knitting shop. Her classes cover various knitting techniques (from beginner to advanced), including 'Absolute Beginners' where you'll learn how to knit, 'Next Steps' which expands your knitting skills beyond the simple knit stitch, and others such as colourwork, steeking and sock knitting. She also runs her Sweater School where knitters can learn to knit a sweater across a series of 4 classes. Jacki (aka The Woolly Badger) is a knitting teacher and designer based in Bristol. She's passionate about encouraging knitters to try out new things. Whether that's colourwork, lace knitting, adjusting knitting patterns or anything else. Jacki firmly believes nothing in knitting is quite as scary as it seems - she promises! The Woolly Badger runs knitting workshops in Bristol, both online and in-person. Jacki's friendly and fuss-free approach creates a nurturing environment where guests can build their confidence knitting and learn new skills. 10% of all Woolly Badger sales go to Bluebell Care, a perinatal mental health charity based in Bristol.
