Photoplate Lithography Summer School (Week 3 only)

Five-day focus on photoplate lithography for artists with or without experience. Participants will explore traditional and contemporary methods. A five day focus on photoplate lithography. Learn about drawing, exposing the image and printing. Learn how to mix colours, registration for multi colour images, mixing inks, using creative deletion techniques, exposing objects to plates, chine colle. Demonstrations cover a range of traditional and contemporary methods in the creation of fine art lithographs. Get the chance to practice and experiment with this wonderfully expressive process under the guidance of experienced tutors. Students will have 24 hour access to the studio and some materials will be available for purchase directly. Accommodation, food and travel are not included in the course cost.
