Experimental Darkroom Photography

Learn the basic fundamentals of traditional black and white darkroom printing, through experimental darkroom techniques and black and white film printing. This course begins with exploring cameraless processes, such as photograms and chemigrams. We will use enlargers and darkroom chemistry for these processes. We will then work with negatives to create contact sheets and to make analogue prints. You will work with your own black and white negatives, and the same darkroom chemicals. Experimental printing techniques will also be explored when printing with your negatives.
