Workshop
In this workshop we will explore the meanings and attributes of the four suits of the Minor Arcana - Wands, Swords, Cups and Pentacles - to understand how they relate to other magical systems, alchemy and Kabbalah. We will use the Tarot images associated with each suit to gain insight into the magical aspects of the four elements and the four worlds of Kabbalah. This workshop is for people who have participated in the Tarot for Everyone or other Tarot workshops at the Folk House - it would not be a good choice for a first Tarot workshop! You may bring your Waite-Smith deck along for reference if you have one, but this workshop will mostly be exploring broader abstract themes rather than engaging directly with individual cards. Please bring journaling materials. You are welcome to bring a pillow, blanket, or anything that might make you feel more physically comfortable in our space as you participate in guided meditation or channel your intuition.
