Salsa

Cuba is the birthplace of Salsa, and who best to teach you than Abelardo. Abelardo learnt to dance on the streets of Old Havana, Cuba and epitomises the vibrant, colourful and energetic spirit of his beloved city. Like many Cubans, dance comes as naturally to Abelardo as walking and talking. Abelardo will be running the beginners Salsa Course at the Bristol Folk House. This class is ideal for people who are completely new to Salsa. He will be focusing on the very basic steps and fundamentals. There is no need to bring a partner to this class or any of our classes, just some comfortable shoes and lots of enthusiasm! We welcome people of all ages and abilities. You do not need any dance experience, rhythm or coordination! This class is just about having fun, moving and getting involved.
