Workshop objectives: By the end of the workshop students will be able to: • Understand basic Deaf Awareness • How to communicate when meeting a Deaf person • Recognise the barriers Deaf people face daily in the hearing community • Able to introduce yourself by fingerspelling your name • Have a basic conversation with a Deaf person. Bring a notepad and pen. Please get in touch if you have any additional needs that would be helpful for us to know about, and we will try to arrange adjustments for you to better access the workshop.
