Country, Folk, Rock and Pop. Celebrating decades of musical heritage, Transatlantic Sessions returns in 2027 to stages across the UK and Ireland. A perpetual highlight of Celtic Connections, the show brings together the premier custodians of Scottish, Irish, and American acoustic roots music. Guided by masters Aly Bain and Jerry Douglas, the legendary house band, featuring John Doyle, Michael McGoldrick, Tatiana Hargreaves, Allison de Groot, John McCusker, Donald Shaw, James Mackintosh, and Daniel Kimbro, takes center stage for an unmissable evening of virtuoso acoustic music. Special guest vocalists are set to be announced soon. Join us to experience the seamless magic of musicians bridging the Atlantic in real time.
