Two defining forces of alternative music, The Jesus & Mary Chain and The Psychedelic Furs, join forces for a co-headline show at Bristol Beacon. Formed by brothers Jim and William Reid in 1983, The Jesus & Mary Chain helped shape the sound of shoegaze with their feedback-heavy, melodic take on rock, from landmark debut Psychocandy to 2024's Top 10 album Glasgow Eyes. The Psychedelic Furs emerged from the late-'70s punk and art-rock scene, fronted by Richard Butler's unmistakable vocals and known for classics including Pretty in Pink. Two influential bands, one night of post-punk, noise and melody.
