Red Carousel

The brilliant Red Carousel return to the Glass Studio for another sublimely unique session of chamber pop originals, sitting somewhere between The Penguin Café Orchestra and Nils Frahm. As a session group, they’ve played with a slew of brilliant musicians and groups including Peter Gabriel at WOMAD; Newton Faulkner for his Rebuilt by Humans album; The Heavy on their album The Glorious Dead (which features on adverts for Pepsi, Guinness, major motion picture Dallas Buyers Club, and many more) and Jim Moray on his MOJO Folk Album of the Year Low Culture. They’re performed their original, chamber-pop pieces in myriad settings from concert halls to Glastonbury festival, and their compositions have been featured across the airways, including feature spots on BBC radios 3 and 4, CBC radio (Canada) and Arteles radio (Finland). They also, once, filmed an advert for BBC TV on a craggy Welsh cliff where it was very cold.
