Stephanie Gay has worked as a silk artist for over 20 years and is based in Somerset. Painting mainly on pure Chinese habotai 8 silk with specialist silk paints, for Stephanie, painting is not only about capturing the visual appearance of her subject but more importantly, the feelings it inspires in her.
