Good Morning Spike Island! Coffee morning and Tour

Spike Island is delighted to welcome local residents and community members for a relaxed morning, with coffee and a tour of our exhibition. Join us for complimentary drinks in Emmeline Café, followed by an informal tour of our autumn exhibition, Beverly Buchanan: Weathering. Beverly Buchanan was an African-American artist who found endless creativity in the people and places around her. This tour is a chance for our neighbours to get to know her story and her art. It will also be an opportunity to connect and come together around themes of care and solidarity - ideas that sat at the heart of Beverly Buchanan's work and life. All welcome. No prior experience or knowledge of contemporary art is required.
