Talks

Public talk by Prof. Ilan Pappé and Robb Johnson. Calum recently spent three months in the West Bank as a human rights monitor with the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI). Working with local communities and people suffering human rights abuses from the Army, settlers and police, his role was to protect human rights, and where there were abuses, to record and report on them. This talk will explore stories of the people and vulnerable communities he worked with, and contextualise it within wider patterns of life under occupation in the West Bank. There will be plenty of time for questions and calls to action.
