Autumn Exhibition 2026

After a long hot summer, we advance into the autumn with a mixed exhibition of enticing new paintings. It's been some time since we have received new work by one of our favorite artists, Philip Richardson who has been with Lime Tree Gallery since day one. So we are excited to receive a fresh body of paintings. Northumberland landscape painter Robert Newton has also been with us for many years, debuting in 2007. Our collectors appreciate his sweeping bold brushstrokes depicting the big wide skies of his native county. Closer to home, John Evans' distinctive harbourside paintings are particularly cherished by our local clients. In contrast, Anna Perlin is a master of collage which is beautifully integrated into her textural still life paintings. Texture is also a prominent feature in paintings by Scottish artist Rose Strang and Welsh artist Mike Carter. We are thrilled that both artists are sending us new work. Finally, we are excited to introduce a new artist to the gallery. Laura Menzie, a contemporary abstract artist based in Cornwall, creates expressive atmospheric works defined by emotion and colour.
