RITUALS

A solo exhibition of ethereal and abstract, dreamscape paintings by Sky Siouki, each one a deep and profound reflection of the magic of nature and beauty of Earth. Rituals stirs up mystical connotations of witchcraft and ancient tradition whilst also quietly honouring the little ways in which we take care of ourselves day to day. Canvases splashed with expressive brushstrokes and primal pastel marks make homes for a coven of ghostly goddesses. These goddesses, delicately depicted in milky oil paint, represent a collective divine feminine energy. These paintings are a celebration of the women who are one with the Earth, who meditate in tune with it, commune with the trees and allow their being to flow in rhythm with the seasons. Through her practice Sky discovers where we belong in this world and invites you to linger in her vision of joy and peace. In its simplest essence Rituals is an exhibition that hopes to shine a light on Earth's magical beauty and remind that we humans are connected and one with this wild and wondrous place.
