Happy 40th Anniversary to The Vaselines! The Vaselines were formed in Glasgow in 1987 by singers/guitarists Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee. They released two 12 inch singles 'Son of a Gun' and 'Dying For it' and one album 'Dum Dum'. Nirvana's Kurt Cobain regularly cited the Vaselines in interviews with the music press. The Vaselines begin their 40th anniversary year 2027 with a U.K. tour.
