Petrol Girls

Effigy presents PETROL GIRLS plus special guests Yakkie £15 Adv 7pm doors Petrol Girls are back for their first Bristol headline since their sold out Strange Brew show of 2022!! The band is a glorious staple of the post-hardcore scene. Their playful, fast-paced and chaotic punk is a political blast of rage that is as important as it is fun, as demonstrated on their excellent 2022 full-length, ‘Baby’. They returned to the stage with a string of shows this summer alongside Dead Pioneers, incl. at 2000trees Festival, before hitting the road this fall for just three headline shows, including London, Bristol and Leeds. It’s damn good to have them back! Support from the bold and boisterous heavy-punk sounds of Yakkie. Exchange has a small ramp entrance from the street. Our bar and main event space are on the ground floor with level access throughout and we have an accessible toilet.
