The Alpha Course

Explore life, faith and meaning. Alpha is an 8 week course that creates space to come and discuss the Christian faith and life's big questions. We're starting on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 7pm, and there's the option of joining for Alpha Day on Saturday 14th March. Each week we share a meal, watch a short video, and discuss any thoughts and questions you might have! Here's the running order of a typical evening at Alpha: WELCOME 7:00 - 7:30PM - Mingling and dinner Join us for a free dinner, drinks, and dessert! WATCH 7.35 - 8PM - Welcome and short talk Each Alpha evening features a 25 minute film. Designed to inspire more questions than provide answers, these short films explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? DISCUSS 8 - 9:00PM - Discuss the questions that matter to you The entire night is built around this: after the film we'll break into discussion groups where you can share your thoughts about faith and life and hear from others in your group. You can feel free to say whatever you like or as little as you like, it's up to you.
