Mixed Media Textile Art

In this guided workshop, you will explore the potential of materials and processes as a starting point for Mixed Media Textile Art. We will focus more on the process, rather than specific outcomes. Playfully responding to stimuli through different textile skills (hand sewing, printing, dying/painting and manipulating), as well as materials (objects, yarn, foraged natural materials and fabric). Due to the short nature of the workshop, a beginner's understanding of hand sewing is advised and a high level of dexterity will be required. All materials are provided.
