Introduction to Natural Dyes

Join us for a one day, natural dye workshop. Freia will guide you through the basics of natural dyeing in the comfort of the classroom setting at the Folk House. The workshop will include various dyeing techniques. How to extract colour from plants in a dye vat, How to prepare fabric for dyeing, Surface design and fabric folding techniques, Produce fabric sample pieces that you can take home, Set you up for continuing your natural dye journey in your own kitchen, Sharing experiences and knowledge from Freia.
