Pottery: Three Pots in a Day

Join us in our studio to get your hands on some clay and your creativity flowing in this full day course for beginners. You will explore three fundamental yet very different pottery techniques: coiling, pinching and textured slab-work to create three, (or maybe more) unique, functional, and decorative pieces. We will cover: - Basic to advanced coiling and pinching techniques - Rolling and texturing slabs to create cylinders and pressed dishes - Altering forms to create more expressive shapes All materials are provided. After the session, we will glaze and fire your pieces, ready for collection at a later date.
