A beginner level day workshop in drawing figures. In the morning we will draw from photographs of athletes, dancers and gymnasts in action, and in the afternoon we will draw from a live clothed model, being still! Initially the tutor will explain and demonstrate how to draw figures from observation, and then offer you plenty of feedback or help whilst you are drawing. The emphasis will be on seeing shapes, looking at real poses rather than formulaic diagrams.
