Workshop
This workshop is for anyone who has got some writing done, whether factual or fiction, and wants to polish it. We will take a whistle-stop tour of the editing process and the challenges of applying it to your own writing. Topics covered include the three traditional stages of editing from structural heavy-lifting down to word-level proofing. Teaching is through examples, discussion, and hands-on exercises. You will leave with a toolkit of tips to make your writing shine in preparation for sharing it with your target audience. Please bring a brief sample of your writing of any kind (you will not be sharing it with others) and something to write with.
