Join us for International Day of Disabled People 2026 with an event bringing Disabled people and allies together to connect, share food, enjoy performances and spend time with our community. International Day of Disabled People is an opportunity to recognise our experiences, our communities and the contribution Disabled people make across Bristol. At BDEF, we also want it to be a chance to simply come together, enjoy ourselves and strengthen the connections between us. As part of the event, we'll look back at what BDEF and our community have been doing over the past year, share some of our plans for the future and give our members the opportunity to have their say in what comes next. There will also be plenty of time to relax and socialise. We'll sit down together for a community meal, giving people the chance to catch up with familiar faces, meet someone new and build connections with other Disabled people. We'll round things off with performances showcasing Disabled creativity and talent, bringing some joy, energy and entertainment to the day. Whether you've been involved with BDEF for years, have recently joined our community or are coming along for the first time, you'll be very welcome. Come and be part of an afternoon of community, connection, good food, creativity and Disabled joy.
